The new idea for my final project

After Ori and I met our superviser a few weeks ago, I had to change my mind of my final project. As a lot of people wanted to make map app for UL, I needed to make something new. Chris told me that I could do something about mobile apps such as making friends.But as I knew there were lots of apps about making friends. For example,Facebook, Snapchat,QQ and Wechat etc.. They had already been convenient to users. These apps had powerful functions. So I should find something that was different from them. Actually it was very difficult for me because of the technical skills.

But at first I should native the users' range.  The users' range of the apps I had mentioned before was very extensive. But it couldn't be denied that the young people was the main part. So I decided to make the app which could be used by young people. The other point was the app's content. I should considered that it was used for living or business or entertainment.

Because I am international student in my university, the international office will servers and help us for all the time. Our international office has a program named Buddy Program which could make friends with every countries' people while the process will take you long time. At first, we need to apply this program and then the international office will email us. Then our buddy program friend will contact us thought email. Even we do these, maybe we cannot be friends for some reasons such as common topic, interesting things, timetable,background and respect etc..

The second thing is coming from my experience.  When I came to university first time, I felt confused about the layout. I wanted somebody could help me to familiar with it and as a guide for me. So I think I could make an app that could use for new guys at school. whereas I know some apps could do it now, I still should find something new...

A visit in HUNT MUSEUM

As I know, Hunt Museum likes a family museum in some degrees. It is located in Limerick city center and has a long history.

The host liked to collect variety of relics from different countries or businessmen. So in here I see some of Chinese and Japanese's stuffs.

 The first stuff which appealed me to look was a sculpture named APOLLO. It was painted with wood in German in 17th century. On his body, there were covered in symbols of the trades, professions and leisure pursuits of its time. If you could see it, you would feel that it is very elegant.

In this museum, if you are a Chinese or Japanese, it is very excited! There are lots of China, plates and tea cups. I couldn't wait to introduce them to my classmates because I just want them could know more about China. The first thing I introduced was the tea cup with a dragon.  As we know, in western culture the dragon is a bad symbol. But for Chinese, the yellow dragon means power, reign, and authority. Even it only belongs to the emperor. Nobody could use it except him. The symbol of his wife,queen, is the phenix.

Besides these, I was so interested in jewel! Ironwork jewellery became fashionable in Prussia in the first half of the 19th century. It experienced a long time to develop and inherit.

After we visiting, Gababierla gave all of us a bracelet as a memory disk. And we needed to take it  and write down our favorite part and our path during we visiting.  After finishing it, I found the layout of the hunt museum was not good. When I visited the museum, some parts or path I needed go thought twice, this may not be convenient for customers.  So I thought the layout was very important for designers. Of course I knew this was a cottage.

Besides the things I talk above, anther thing give me deep thoughts. Ireland is little country when it compares with China. In China, there are lots of museums. Of course I can tell you all the famous museums' name. But when I am in Ireland, I feel Irish people have a strong sense of national pride. They love their culture, place and art. They want other people could know these. These feelings excite my mind very much. I think we should learn this from them. Love my country, love our culture,and be pride that I am a Chinese.

The new game in CS6022

On today's class, Gabriela introduced a game called Perspectivity. I never heard this game before and because of the limitation of the language, I just knew a little of the game rules. But I would try my best to record it.

At first I just thought this was a intelligent game like some games we played at our home. It needed cooperation ,brain and strategies. We needed to try our best to win the game or something. Keith and I were a team. There also were other five teams with us to play it together.  Every team had their own board to write down the path they wanted to go and how many pollution factories or clean factories they want to build. Thought dicing to decide how to play you part and check whether you could be punishment or not. (Oh my bad English. If I could speak Chinese or play it in Chinese context,I could remember more about it) The interesting thing was the card which the people choice also could influence other teams fate! For example, when someone diced a number that might let you lose you path or factories so that you couldn't build the longest route or build the most factories. After playing it, Gabriela shew us some data and results of this game. At that time I suddenly was enlightened. If you wanted to build the longest way or the most clean factories, not cooperation with you teammate,but with the other teams! During this game I just wanted to win or built more things with my teammates whereas not considered others factors. So in some degree, we failed this game actually,all of us. Because of selfish.

From this game I was rich in thoughts. In reality, there were lots of things happen like this game, such as get on the bus and pay for the stuff in the malls etc.. If everyone wanted to finish it first and there was no order,no one could get the thing they wanted.

We were a community and no one could live without others. The cooperation was not just for group, team or club,it should be for all human.If everyone knew this, we could solve any pollution and ricks.

So don't be selfish, just cooperate with others.
